"We will be celebrating the holidays apart this year. It is going to be interesting to see how it goes, because since we've been a couple we've always found a way to be together on Christmas. I know I will be OK since I will be with family, but I don't feel right celebrating and being happy when I know the situation he is in. I plan on doing my best to make his Christmas a good one by sending him gifts.
